Beta build is out!

Key changes this week:

  • Tutorial to expose mechanics to players.
  • Changed level layout. We made each zoo habitat have it's own unique level rather than just jumping around to get to the goal. 
  • Cutscenes for story exposition. Hopefully these clear things up about the story(and make you admire the quality)
  • Explodable things! Rockets should make things blow up.
  • Small mechanic tweaks to the rocket jump. 

Many of the changes were done in response to feedback received from peer testing. In particular, we were told that the game was too linear and unclear. From positive feedback, we were told that players enjoyed exploring and shooting things, so we also wanted to build on that. 

Next we plan to make more things explodable, add additional cutscenes regarding certain events, and make continued tweaks to the levels.
